Chauffeur service
The vehicle and the driver are assigned to you for the booking. That is the real distinction — not the badge on the bonnet. A chauffeur waits while you are in a meeting, holds the car between a site visit and a station run, and works to your schedule rather than a dispatcher’s queue. It is sold either as a transfer with a fixed price, or by the hour when the day has more than one stop or the timings are not firm.
Limousine hire

When hourly beats a transfer price
A single airport run is cheapest as a fixed-price transfer. Book by the hour instead when the day looks like this: two or three meetings across Bristol and Bath, a client you collect and return, a site tour, or a day trip where you want the option to stay somewhere longer. Paying for the car to wait is almost always cheaper than paying for three separate journeys plus the risk of not finding the third one.
